Self-cleaning bag air filters have a number of advantages over traditional bag air filters.

The circular shape allows it to mechanically resist without deforming to any explosions due to the field of use of powders such as flour, cereals and sugar. The ATEX 99/92/EC directive is the reference for dangerous environments and defines the safety standards.

HIGH pressure filter CSA

Filters with high pressure cleaning (5 bar) have a number of advantages over filters with low pressure cleaning. The main advantages are:

  • Greater cleaning efficiency: the high pressure allows you to remove more dust from the filter in less time.
  • Longer Filter Life: High pressure helps keep the filter clean and extends its life.
  • Less Maintenance: High pressure cleaning requires less maintenance than low pressure cleaning.

However, the consumption of high pressure air must be well considered in the preliminary study phases.

LOW pressure air filter CSB

Descrizione

Filters with low pressure cleaning (0.6 bar) have a number of advantages compared to filters with high pressure cleaning. The main advantages are:

  • Lower Energy Consumption: Low pressure cleaning requires less energy than high pressure cleaning.
  • Less Noise: Low pressure cleaning produces less noise than high pressure cleaning.

Unfortunately, the cleaning efficiency is lower, therefore the intervals must be more frequent.

Product characteristics

Principle of operation

A self-cleaning baghouse air filter for dry dust environments is a device that is used to remove dust and other contaminants from the air. The filter consists of a series of filter bags, which are made of a dust-resistant material, such as fiberglass or polyester. The dirty air is fed into the sleeves, where the dust is captured by the filter fibers.

The self-cleaning bag filter is equipped with a self-cleaning system that allows you to remove dust accumulated on the filter bags without having to dismantle the filter. The self-cleaning system typically works through a blowing process.

The flat bottom includes a scraper inside controlled by an external gearmotor and a capacitive sensor.

To guarantee the safety standard imposed by the ATEX 99/92/CE directive, the filter is supplied complete with a safety element for explosions with a burst membrane according to current regulations and a sensor to signal the start of breakage.
