The DEO Dehulling Machine is used to eliminate the external husk of various granular products like wheat, rice, barley, soybeans, millet, sorghum, peas, beans, lentils and chickpeas without damaging the kernel.
The product is cleaned by the rubbing of the kernels against 6 scouring wheels without any breakage of the kernels.
The degree of scouring can be adjusted to micrometric precision by the 4 knobs positioned outside that adjust the degree of opening of the product outlet gates.
Two flows of air blow through the machine: one blows directly from inside the scouring wheels to keep both the machine and shell clean, the other blows from outside the shell and carries the outer husk to the machine’s outlet.
